Is drone photography worth it for a listing?

The short answer

Drone photos and video

For most Space Coast listings, yes. Aerials show the water, the lot and what is nearby in a way ground photos cannot. With Pelican Media Haus there’s no extra charge: drone photos come with every package from $349, and Premier adds drone video. Both photographers are FAA-licensed drone pilots.

When aerials matter most

Aerials earn their place when the selling point is bigger than one room:

  • Water: a river, canal, lake or the ocean close by.
  • Lot size: a big yard, a pool, or room for a boat or RV.
  • Location: how close the home is to the beach, a park or a school.
  • Vacant land: the lot is the whole listing.

The lot outline photo

Every package includes an aerial with the home pinned and the lot lines outlined. Buyers see where the property starts and stops without reading a survey.

Drone video

Premier adds drone video to the listing video. You can also add a video to Essentials for $250 to $450, the same as upgrading to Premier.

Wind and weather

Very high wind grounds a drone. If that happens on shoot day, we come back for the aerials at no charge. Cloudy days are fine.
