How do I choose a real estate photographer?
The short answer
Choosing a photographer
Start with work they shot in your area. Then check for a published price, a delivery time in writing, a licensed drone pilot, a 3D tour option and a clear reschedule policy. A photographer who answers all of that before you call is one you can book again without a second thought.

The checklist
- Local work. Ask to see homes they shot in your city, not only their best photo.
- A published price. You should know the cost before you call.
- Delivery time. Get it in writing, for photos and for video.
- A licensed drone pilot. Paid drone work needs an FAA Part 107 license.
- 3D tour and floor plan. Ask whether they shoot Zillow 3D, Matterport or neither, and what it costs.
- Who owns the photos. Many photographers keep the copyright and license the photos to you. Check that the license covers social media and your own ads.
- Reschedule and weather. Ask what happens when it rains or the seller is not ready.
- Reviews from agents. Look for reviews that mention showing up on time and delivering fast.

Do I need to be at the shoot?
No, as long as we have access. A lockbox or gate code works.
How far ahead should I book?
Book as soon as the home is ready. You can book up to a year ahead, and same-day shoots are possible when a slot is open.
What if it rains on shoot day?
We watch the forecast and contact you if the shoot needs to move. A weather move is never charged. Cloudy days are fine.
